    Known Print Issues
    Summary:
    Here are some known print issues that we are currently working on.
    Content:
    • Clicked on print button, only the map shows, no text directions (FireFox)
    • Print button has been omitted. How do you get to the print page? (FireFox 3.5 & Internet Explorer)
    • Trying to print driving directions, but keep getting directions to a location I printed out a week ago
    • When I get ready to print out my itinerary, the information I put in the "notes" section is changed to a faded look and then does not print at all
    • The print button no longer shows the written directions just part of the map.
    • Clicking on the print button displays a map of the US not the route I've requested. (Internet Explorer)

      Yea, so I see others have the same problem with printing only the directions.

      What is with that.  Frustrating to say the least.  I can't even call to get it fixed. 

      I will begin looking for another program that provides the ability to print the directions with out the map.

      Your product was really dependable at one time.

      I too have not been able to print the Route Directions (Text) Only, for about 3 weeks now.  I only get the  Print Map option (which does me no good.)

      I use Firefox, and since I CAN print directions from IE on my work computer, I'm assuming that Mapquest is not cooperating with Mozilla....

      PLEASE fix...otherwise I'll be forced to use that OTHER mapping program.....

    • Thank you all for your information and comments.  All of this helps us determine what the issue is. 

      We do have one suggestion that may fix some of the issues that you have encountered.  In some cases, if you have any adblock software installed, that software can cause the print functionality from working properly.

      Uninstall the adblock software, ensuring that you close all browsers, and then try creating your map or directions again and then try printing again.

      Please let us know if this works or if you still encounter issues when printing.

      by the way, what the *F* ??!!  No one over 40 can register?  What's with the birthdate being required but no earlier year than 1970 available??

      I have used mapquest in the past, but today I can't print out directions. First thought I needed new ink cartiage, replaced that and it still want print,what comes out is real faint and I can't read it,neither can I see the map. This is really erritating. I'll have to find another site, this one is sure note servicing the public!

      Mapquest removed the direct 'print' button....why oh why did you do that?  It was the best system.

      Now I guess I have to move on to another vendor......................tsk tsk...don't the software engineer

      test the system before they open it to the public????????????????????????????????????/
