We have discovered that users are having issues with the Maps & Directions pages loading. Two issues seem to exist:
We have found a potential fix to this issue. If you clear your cache in your browser, this should alleviate this issue. For more information about how to do this, refer to the following articles:
Note: To find out what version you have, open Internet Explorer and select Help and then About Internet Explorer. A window will open telling you what version you have.
For AOL users, if you open Internet Explorer outside of AOL (Start->Programs->Internet Explorer), you can fix the issue within AOL by clearing the cache in your Internet Explorer application. After clearing the cache, you can close Internet Explorer and then open your AOL again and MapQuest should work properly within AOL.

Lets say you have several addresess (like 20 for example) and you want to go first to #10, than to #2 and then to #9 or whatever, and you need to order them to get the shortest route wihtout clicking the arrows "up or down" because it takes to long, but if you select them like.... this first, this second, this third, and so on, it will be easier and faster

Imagine rushing to get someplace, going to yer TRUSTY mapquest, printing the directions and rushing off into the car.... only to find that as you hit the last two lines of the directions, Mapquest discarded your address all together and decided to send you to its own idea of where that TOWN was.... so like me, you may have left work, spent 3 hours driving there and back, and having wasted your time, your gas, and your company's time... not to mention your own frustration and embarrassment, which is unretrievable.
So my suggestion for improvement is to permanently delete that option --and any option that is anything like it. It's one thing to 'suggest' addresses that resemble the one your search did not recognize. But to just put the town name, which makes the person say, "YES! thats the town i wanted!" and clicking on it, but not realizing that meant the address has been deleted too... is PLAIN OLD MEAN!!
I would guess users of mapquest are in a rush OFTEN when using the site. You've entered your address and destination. WORSE than just leading someone on a ghost chase to where, you end up with a print out that also doesnt include the address you were looking for, so you cant redirect yourself. Just have to turn around, and wade thru the traffic again, and try to not be so ticked off you get in an accident.

For those searching out the location of a funeral home.....A map with all of the county funeral homes
could be a big convenience. Is it possible?
I have an older email with an embedded directions link to my step-daughter's grandmother's house, I don't have the actual address. Anyway the link no longer works and I need to find the housefor a birthday party, thanks.
